BeShape will be holding Design Workshops in New York City from May - September 2008. These workshops will be focused on Solidworks Computer Aided Design software and it's role in the product design and development process. BeShape has asked industrial designers Bibi Seck and Dino Sanchez to lead these workshops and share their experiences on how CAD has helped them develop successful products. Solidworks is an industry standard and an integral step in the process of many of today's successful design studios. The goal of these workshops is to not only teach students how to use Solidworks as a program, but to demonstrate how it can be used as an efficient tool in the process of developing products that stay true to the beauty of a sketch or the spark of a conceptualized idea.
