Inspired by the elegance, strength and form of tree branches and roots, the success of developing Motive depended on the ability to translate these organic forms and implement the initial concept sketches into digital 3D data. The Birsel + Seck design team was able to create these forms using the advanced surfacing techniques found in the Solidworks CAD software. This data was then used to manufacture all parts of the Motive line of conferencing tables.
